Puppy Training Program (PTP) Overview

Our Puppy Training Program (PTP) is a game-changer for those who understand the importance of early proper dog training. Here’s how it can make a lasting impact on your puppy’s future:

Duration: A comprehensive 5-week board and train program exclusively tailored for puppies under the age of 6 months.

Imprinting Phase:

– Objective: Ingrain desired behaviors without command association.

– Outcome: This method ensures your puppy will internalize desired behaviors before a command is associated. This approach mitigates potential negative associations when commands are eventually introduced.

– Advantages: Major headway in challenges such as potty and crate training, handling (e.g., being petted, bathed, groomed), acclimatization to different surfaces (like concrete, wet grass, sand), leash walking, and adapting to collar-wearing. Plus, we introduce the concept of food luring, setting the foundation for more advanced training.

Familiarization and Socialization:

– Objective: Acquaint your puppy with diverse experiences.

– Outcome: Exposure to people from various backgrounds, other pets, larger animals, varied noises, moving stimuli, and general environmental nuances.

Basic Obedience Training:

– Objective: Lay the foundation for essential commands.

– Outcome: Your puppy will confidently respond to Sit, Down, Come, Crate, Bed, In, Out, and With-Me, all on-leash. A pivotal note: our basic “Stay” command means they’ll remain in the last position until given another command.

– Advantages: As we progress, We also work on housebreaking and reshaping unwanted behaviors, like *chewing, *digging, *excessive barking, *bolting, jumping on people and *furniture,*counter surfing, and pulling on the leash.

Stay Updated:

While your puppy is immersed in our PTP, we provide a private Google Drive folder, regularly updated with photos and videos. This way, you’re not just updated on their training, but you can also witness their growth and adorable moments.

Certification and Handover:

At the end of PTP, your puppy earns a certificate. And here’s the best part: when it’s time to reunite, we handle the drop-off – at no additional cost! But we don’t just hand over the leash. We invest a minimum of an hour walking you through the training methods applied, ensuring you can maintain consistency and reinforce behaviors at home.

Empowering YOU:

Your role is paramount. We’ll guide you and any family members on asserting the proper commands, maintaining the bond of trust, and establishing yourself as the leader. The seamless transition of this chain of command is integral to your puppy’s continued adherence to the training.

Lifetime Support:

Investing in our program is a lifelong commitment on our end. Whether it’s a query, a challenge, or a refresher, our trainers are accessible via calls, texts, emails, or even visual aids. Should there be a pressing concern, we’re always ready to evaluate an on-site visit.

Think of this not just as training but as a long-term investment in your dog’s future, saving you both time and potential future expenses. Entrust your puppy with experts committed to excellence.

Remember, dog training is a two-way street. While we work on improving your dog’s behavior, understanding and adapting proper handling methods will ensure long-lasting success and a happy, stress-free bond with your canine companion.

PTP Prerequisite

Before enrollment, please ensure your dog meets the following requirements:

  • No Previous Training Required: Whether your puppy is a
blank slate or has picked up a few tricks, all are welcome. We tailor our
approach to each individual puppy’s needs.
  • Up-to-date Vaccination Records: To ensure the safety of all our canine guests, please provide the most recent record of your puppy’s vaccinations.
  • Rabies Certificate: This is crucial for older dogs. However, if your puppy is under 6 months of age, you’re exempted from this requirement.

Additionally, kindly provide the following items when enrolling your dog in our training programs:

Pricing, Enrollment, Pick-Up and Drop-Off

We encourage you to reach out to us via phone, text, email, or our online query form for the latest information on our Puppy Training Program (PTP) rates. While board and train facilities with proven results typically charge between $100 and $150 per day, our pricing remains competitive despite the superior quality of training we provide.

It’s essential to recognize that the upfront expense of professional training pays off significantly in the long run. At our facility, your dog participates in 7 to 9 daily training sessions, each lasting approximately 30 minutes. This amounts to a comprehensive 3.5 to 4.5 hours of dedicated training each day. This schedule doesn’t even include the time devoted to socialization, recreational activities, feeding, grooming, and overall care, ensuring your puppy’s needs are fully met.

Training with us is not just a purchase but an impactful investment in your dog’s future. It saves you potentially endless hours while avoiding common setbacks often encountered during self-training. More so, it paves the way for a harmonious long-term relationship with your pet. By choosing our services, you’re opting for a stress-free, efficient route that secures a well-mannered canine companion for years to come. Consider the lasting benefits and peace of mind that professional training will bring to both you and your dog’s life.

To guarantee the quality and effectiveness of our PTP, we offer limited training slots, ensuring that each enrolled dog receives the necessary time and attention. New openings may be available as infrequently as every other week.

To further enhance your experience, we provide a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service for all our board and train programs. This service allows us to better understand your dog’s behavior in their familiar environment, where we’ll assess how you interact with your dog to understand your handling style. Upon drop-off, we’ll offer feedback to refine your techniques, ensuring they align with our training and prevent misunderstandings. Proper handling is key, especially when reintegrating your dog into your family, reinforcing the training they’ve received. which is crucial for developing a tailored training plan for your dog and your family.

Our clients appreciate the added convenience of our pick-up and drop-off service, making the training process even more seamless and enjoyable.
